A day following that email I took my own advice.
Introducing the launch of the Future Firm Accounting Podcast.
My goal with Future Firm is to help accounting & bookkeeping firm owners and leaders modernize, see into the future and better future-proof your firms.
The Future Firm Accounting Podcast builds on that where I’ll speak with leaders in the space who are innovating to help provide you with resources to help modernize and shed light on new developments your firm should know about to stay ahead.
Last week I sat down with 2 true leaders in the space who run perhaps the largest cloud accounting firm in North America, Kenji Kuramoto and Matthew May from Acuity.
If you want to hear from 2 people that really
get the current state of the industry and who are years ahead most of the pack, check out the post & podcast episode here
. There are some good, helpful nuggets in there.
For now I plan to release an episode every 2 weeks. To subscribe to it on Apple Podcasts for future episodes, click here
On deck for the next episode I’ll sit down with the CEO of the 2nd largest small business accounting software in North America, FreshBooks, to talk about their latest investment from JPMorgan Chase
and how accounting, technology & banking are all intersecting (and what that means for you).
On a final note, I’m proud that Future Firm Weekly Top 5 has surpassed 500 active subscribers (a big thank you to everyone that reads this!) and we are growing a nice community of accounting & bookkeeping leaders collaborating on Facebook (click here to request access to the private group
Without further ado, let’s get to this week’s Future Firm Weekly Top 5:
