Run your firm from an RV

Future Firm Weekly Top 5
Run your firm from an RV
By Ryan Lazanis • Issue #34 • View online

When you have an online firm, you have the ultimate flexibility in how you work, when you work and where you work. So spending a few days working in the Caribbean would be kinda cool.
But Chad Davis, Partner at LiveCA, one of the world’s leading cloud accounting firms with around 60 people on the team, takes it to a whole new level.
He runs his firm from his RV and he’s been doing it for over a year.
The guy is literally a walking WiFi hotspot. It’s true, I tried to connect to WiFi at Xerocon and I saw Chad’s personal WiFi in the connections list.
It’s absolutely amazing to think that in today’s day and age that you can run an accounting firm from a moving vehicle for a prolonged period of time.
This can only be done with good technology, a good business model and obviously, a great team.
Kudos to Chad. Here’s a video of him in action.
P.S. Here’s another excellent example of a CPA who lives from paradise on a small island off of West Timor.
And with that, let’s get to this week’s Future Firm Weekly Top 5:
